MANNFORD — The holiday spirit will be revving up in just a few weeks as local riders and community members prepare for the 6th Annual Mannford Toy Run set for Nov. 30. The event will kick off at God’s Gym in Mannford and roll out to the New Mannford Ramp with a tight, kick stand up time of 1 p.m.
Together bikers, families, and friends are invited to spread Christmas cheer for local children in need with the event being held to benefit Mannford Giving Tree Inc which provides Christmas presents for local kids and families. To participate all that’s needed is to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate.
Jeff Snapp, one of the event organizers and participants, said it was all about giving back and thanks to generous support that is exactly what is planned. In addition to the toy run the afternoon will be packed with fun and festivities featuring live music by Chris & Suzie Duo, food trucks, and a 50/50 raffle drawing.
Those looking for a little extra excitement can also purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a 2017 Harley-Davidson 48 Sportster. Tickets are on sale now for just $25 each at the following locations of local sponsors In-N-Out Food Stores, God’s Gym in Mannford, Postboxy, The Tire Shop, Slim Luck Cycle Works, Phelps Market, Scissortails, Full Service Filling Station, and AeroBear Media.
