Motorcyclist injured after swerving to avoid dog in Creek County

MANNFORD — A Mannford man was injured Tuesday night after swerving to avoid a dog and running off the roadway in Creek County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to OHP Trooper Cory White, the collision occurred at approximately 8:13 p.m. April 6 at the intersection of South 369th West Avenue and West 51st Street South.

According to OHP, 58-year-old Richard Allen Jordan of Mannford was driving a motorcycle when he swerved to miss a dog in the roadway. The motorcycle left the roadway to the right.

Jordan was reported injured in the collision. The extent of his injuries was not immediately available.
