February 10 election results

Voters went to the polls on Feb. 10 for a number of elections including for state representative District 35, Drumright school board office number, and five City of Cushing propositions. Below are the results from local voters as well as overall as of this Monday, Feb. 16.

Two children drown in Osage County creek

AVANT — Two 9-year-old boys from Avant died Friday evening in a drowning incident at Tucker Creek in Osage County.The incident occurred about 7 p.m. Feb. 7 approximately a half-mile south of County Road 2230, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
