Sand Springs man injured in crash

TULSA COUNTY — Three people were injured in a head-on collision early July 8 after another vehicle reportedly passed illegally and forced an oncoming driver off the road.The crash occurred at 5:39 a.m. near West 51st Street South and South 97th West Avenue, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Mannford officials display a ceremonial check for $693,820 from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board to help fund the town’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure project. The loan includes 100 percent principal forgiveness and is expected to save the town an estimated $1.3 million compared with traditional financing.
