Two teens injured in crash

CLEVELAND — Two teenagers were injured Friday afternoon when their vehicle ran off the road and overturned on OK-99, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a 17-year-old driver from Cleveland was traveling near West 21st Street South around 12:48 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, coming to rest on its top.

The driver and a passenger, also a juvenile, were both injured in the crash.

Troopers said seat belts were not in use by all occupants at the time of the collision.

Both were transported for treatment of their injuries. Details on their conditions have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation by OHP Trooper Hayden Vernon.
