DRUMRIGHT — The City of Drumright has announced Jerry Preston as its employee of the month for March in recognition of his dedication and service to the community, according to City Manager Shawn Gibson.
Preston has worked with the city’s streets and parks department since July 10 of 2023. Gibson praised his strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining public spaces and infrastructure. City leaders extended congratulations to Preston and expressed appreciation for his continued contributions and commitment to the Drumright community.
Before joining the City of Drumright, Preston spent 23 years with the Wellington Fire Department, where he served as a captain and paramedic — building a distinguished career in public service. Outside of his city duties, Preston enjoys fishing and riding motorcycles, according to Gibson.
