OBN uproots Harvest Health dispensary

SANDSPRINGS—TheOklahomaBureau of Narcotics rolled heavy into Sand Springs, Wednesday, swarming the Harvest Health Dispensary at 1104 W. Wekiwa Road with more than 15 law enforcement units, a dump truck, and a skid steer loader. By the end of the afternoon, agents with the Marijuana Enforcement Teams (MET) had stripped the property of its crop as well as it’s processed product.

The haul was staggering: 4,151 marijuana plants, 550.8 pounds of processed marijuana, and assorted cannabis products pulled from the shelves and back rooms. OBN officials said the search warrant was part of an ongoing criminal investigation into cultivation and sales without an active state registration.

Neighbors stood in doorways and sat behind windshields as convoys of trucks lined Wekiwa, and uniformed agents moved in and out of the dispensary.

The Bureau said arrests are pending, and the case remains under investigation. For Sand Springs, it marked one of the most visible raids since Oklahoma’s marijuana boom began — a moment when the green gold rush hit a hard stop on the edge of town.
