Cushing Woman jailed on child abuse, neglect charges

STILLWATER — T h e mother of a nine-month-old baby girl, who had human bite marks all over her body and burns on her hands when she was taken to the Cushing hospital's emergency room, has been ordered held on $1 million bond on charges of child abuse and child neglect between Aug. 2 and Aug. 3.

Wildlife Commission accepts $50,000 land donation

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission accepted a $50,000 donation supporting a recent land purchase and honored several Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation employees during its regular August meeting.
