MANNFORD — Two Mannford women were killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Highway 48 and Carson Ridge Road in Creek County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.The crash occurred at about 6 p.m. March 6.

Emergency Drought Committee Approves Assistance Program

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Emergency Drought Committee met on Feb. 24 and voted to approve a new program aimed at providing emergency drought assistance to Oklahoma producers. The application period opens next Monday on March 9 and runs until June 30.
