Tank battery fire takes toll on firefighters and equipment

After responding to a recent tank battery fire a number of firefighters suffered heat-related illnesses with one spending half a day hospitalized.North 48 fire department was dispatched to the incident on County Rd. 5500 north of Terlton on July 28 around noon, according to Fire Chief Keith Buntin.
