DRUMRIGHT — Drumright is set to kick off its holiday festivities with the 2025 Christmas Parade on Dec. 6 starting at 6:30 p.m., promising an evening of community spirit, sparkling lights, and nostalgic charm.
This year’s parade theme, “Christmas All Through the Years,” invites participants to draw inspiration from the holiday traditions that shaped their childhoods — whether it’s a classic Christmas movie or memories of personal Christmases spent at a grandparent’s house. Organizers encourage entrants to be as creative as they wish. Parade participants will line up at South Jones and West Broadway beginning at 6 p.m. to ensure a smooth procession, entries must be submitted no later than Dec. 5.
Immediately following the parade, the Drumright Historical Society Museum will host the annual Christmas Tree Lighting during which awards will be presented. Entrants must be present to win and organizers plan to give everyone time to return to the museum grounds before the ceremony begins.
Awards will be presented in four categories: the Griswold Award for the brightest and most elaborately lit entry, the Reason for the Season for the best religious-themed display, the Holiday Playlist for the most festive entry inspired by a holiday tune, and the Holiday Hustle for the best overall entry. Participants are eligible to win in more than one category.
For more information or to participate in the event residents may contact Drumright Area Chamber of Commerce President Angela Titus at (918) 352-8013 or Anna Long at (918) 352-0693.
The community is invited to come out, bundle up, and enjoy a festive night as Drumright ushers in the holiday season.
