As a team, Sand Springs connected on 28 field goals and 14 free throws, showing efficiency and composure down the stretch.

Head Coach Eric Savage was pleased with how his team closed the regular season.

“We won our final regular season game and finished the season with a 13-10 record,” he said. “We begin Regional playoffs on Feb. 27th vs Muskogee at Putnam City North High School.”

With a winning record secured and confidence building, the Sandites now turn their focus to Muskogee in the Regional opener. If the balanced scoring and defensive discipline from the Stillwater win carry over, Sand Springs will be a tough out in postseason play.
