OKLAHOMA CITY — Our Blood Institute is offering donors a chance to win a $10,000 vacation package as part of its summer blood-donation campaign.
Anyone who donates blood at an OBI donor center or mobile blood drive through July 31 will be entered in the $10K Vacay Giveaway. One donor will receive a $10,000 vacation package to a destination of the winner’s choice.
Successful donors will also receive a limited-edition T-shirt while supplies last and one free ticket to Frontier City, Hurricane Harbor or Magic Springs. Prizes are subject to availability and may change without notice.
Healthy people who are 16 or older may be eligible to donate. Blood may be donated every 56 days, while platelets may be donated every seven days, up to 24 times per year.
Donors who are 16 must weigh at least 125 pounds and provide signed parental permission. Those who are 17 must also weigh at least 125 pounds. Donors 18 and older must weigh at least 110 pounds. A photo ID is required.
