DRUMRIGHT — The City of Drumright recently recognized Drumright Fire Department Chief Brett Lunsford as the employee of the month for August 2026.
Lunsford has served as fire chief since 2015 and been with the department since 2009. He Las serves as the city’s code enforcement officer.
“Brett (Lunsford) is always willing to lend a helping hand to the city, Drumright Public Schools, and community events throughout Drumright. His commitment to serving our community extends well beyond his daily responsibilities,” said City Manager Shawn Gibson.
Additionally, Lunsford has dedicated his time and expertise to numerous boards and committees for the city, school, and local counties as well as the state through being a member of the Oklahoma State University fire service training subject matter expert committee.
Gibson expressed appreciation for Lunsford’s years of service, leadership, and dedication.
“Thank you, Brett, for all you do for Drumright,” he said.
