DRUMRIGHT — Drumright Chamber of Commerce leadership recently announced a volunteer day is set for Sept. 20.
As part of Paint Oklahoma Beautiful — a Keep Oklahoma Beautiful led initiative that aims at statewide beautification — Drumright Chamber President Angela Titus invites community members to lend a helping hand.
“We received our paint yesterday and will need you to help us paint the front of a building on Broadway,” she said on Sept. 5.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the red building directly across from El Catrin on Broadway, where painting supplies and snacks will be provided. The painting project will give the building’s from facade a fresh, vibrant look that contributes to the downtown area’s revitalization.
Whether you are handy with a paintbrushorjustwanttosupport community improvement, all are welcome. Bring friends, wear clothes you can paint in, and help give Drumright a fresh new look.
