The Oklahoma State Department of Health says that, as of Monday, Jan. 4, it has administered 50,330 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and it has received 174,900 doses since they became available earlier this month.

Oklahoma has 36,646 33,751 active cases of COVID-19, up nearly 3,000 from this time last week.

Since testing began in March, 306,771 people have tested positive in the state. Of those, 267,573 have recovered and 2,552 deaths have been attributed to the virus.

County report

Payne County has 692 active cases, an increase of 189 over last week. Since testing began there have been a total of 6,212 cases. Of those, 5,490 have recovered.A total of 30 deaths have been attributed to the virus in Payne County.

Creek County has 4977 active cases, an increase of 26 over last week. There have been a total of 4,312 cases since testing began in March. Of those, 3,749 have recovered and there have been 66 deaths attributed to the virus.

Lincoln County currently has 281 active cases. There have been a total of 2,233 positive tests in that county and with 1,919 recovered and 33 deaths reported.

Cities and towns

Agra has 19 active cases, an increase of 15 over last week. There have been 69 total cases with 49 recovered and one death.

Cushing has 118 active cases, an increase of 24. There have been 866 total cases, with 740 recovered and eight deaths.

Drumright has 36 active cases, an increase of just one. There have been 190 total cases with 152 recovered, and two deaths.

Glenpool has 140 active cases. There has been 1,077 cases since testing began with nine deaths and 928 recoveries.

Jennings has 16 active cases, a decrease of three. There have been 122 total cases, with 105 recovered, and one death.

Mannford has 51 active cases, up three from last week.. There have been 420 total cases with 363 recovered, and six deaths.

Oilton has nine active cases. There have been 62 total cases with 51 recovered and one death.

Ripley has three active cases. There have been 44 total cases, 40 recovered, and one deaths.

Yale has 23 active cases, an increase of seven. There have been 148 total cases, 122 recovered, and three deaths.

Hillcrest report

No report was available from Hillcrest Hospital as of press time.

Hillcrest Cushing asks that visitors to the hospital adhere to the following guidelines:

At this time, no visitors are allowed for COVID positive inpatients or persons under investigation (PUI).

Hospital patients are allowed one visitor who is required to remain with the patient for the duration of their stay and/or procedure.

Masks are required in the hospital and when staff enter patient rooms.

All patients and visitors are screened upon arrival.

Please be patient as guidelines may change based on the Oklahoma State Health Department and CDC recommendations for COVID-19.
