Creek County Election Board encourages voters to review sample ballots

SAPULPA — Sample ballots for the June 16 Election are now available for Creek County Election Board voters to review before heading to the polls. The June 16 primary election ballot will include candidates running for state, congressional, legislative, district, and county offices as well as State Question 832 and two propositions for Olive Public Schools.

Voters can access and download their personalized sample ballot through the oklahoma.gov or pick up a printed copy at the Creek County Election Board office during regular business hours.

According to Creek County Election Board Secretary Vicki Martin, sample ballots are customized based on a voter’s precinct and eligibility.

“Only voters that have an election will be able to view a sample ballot in the portal,” Martin said. “If the OK Voter Portal indicates that you have no sample ballots available, it means you are not eligible to vote in an upcoming election.”

Martin encouraged residents to utilize this opportunity and to verify whether they have an election before traveling to their polling location on Election Day.

Sample ballots will also be posted outside each precinct polling place on Election Day to allow voters to review races and propositions before casting their ballot.

The Creek County Election Board office is located at 230 E. Hobson Ave. in Sapulpa and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Residents with questions may contact the office at 918-224-3529 or by email at Creekcounty@electionsok.gov.
