Drumright Set to Celebrate Annual Oilpatch Jamboree and More

DRUMRIGHT — Drumright is gearing up to celebrate with activities and events centered around the annual Oilpatch Jamboree. From the Miss Oil Patch Pageant on Oct. 2, 7 p.m. at Tidewater Winery to the Boomtown Theater’s last performance on Oct. 4, starting at 6 p.m. there will be something to fill your time all weekend long.

The Oil Patch Jamboree is a time honored tradition in Drumright that promises fun, heritage, and community for all. Through the dedication of locals like Drumright Chamber President Angela Titus, Anna Long, and Julie Jones – who have volunteered their time – the event has been a success and this year is shaping up to be the same.

Additionally, live entertainment will be available for enjoyment starting with an opening performance from Terah Barnett & Co at 10 a.m., continuing after the parade at noon to 1:30 p.m. with performances presented by New Dynasty, and from 1:30 p.m. to sunset with the Fulkerson Jam lineup consisting of John Snell, Kimberly Ann Hold, Whiskey Band, and more.

The first annual bed races are scheduled for Oct. 3 with a 6 p.m. registration and a 6:30 p.m. start and the first performance of “The Shagwood Secret” will be Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.

The Jamboree remains one of Drumright’s premier traditions, honoring the town’s rich oilpatch roots while bringing neighbors together. Don’t miss the chance to join in the fun.
