DRUMRIGHT — During the Feb. 3 basketball game Jamboree Jog committee members presented a donation to support Drumright Public Schools Track and Cross Country program.
In celebration of the success of the annual Jamboree Jog and in support of Drumright school’s track and cross country athletes a donation of $4,500 was made. Committee members credited local sponsors and participants for helping make the annual event a success.
The amount of the donation was the result of the proceeds made during the annual Jamboree Jog that is held during the Oil Patch Jamboree in October. The funds are meant to help enhance training opportunities and provide resources for the school’s growing track and cross country team.
Event organizers expressed appreciation to the community for its continued support of local youth program and school athletics.
