DRUMRIGHT — The Drumright Chamber of Commerce is preparing for this year’s Oil Patch Jamboree set for Oct. 3. Chamber leadership is now seeking community participation and support.
“We need your help to make this a weekend to remember,” said President Tim Howard in a recent event update.
He said the Chamber is accepting nominations for Mr. and/or Mrs. Oil Patch and the Grand Marshal of the parade until Sept. 15. Parade entries are being accepted at no cost and vendors are also being sought.
Additionally, Howard said the chamber is in search of sponsors to help fund the weekend’s activities. He noted all sponsors will be recognized with signage at the event and various media platforms.
Oil Patch this year will have community activities for three days including Praise in the Patch on Oct. 1, Movies in the Patch featuring Sarah’s Oil on Oct. 2, and on Oct. 3 live music, a kids zone, and the first annual Boomtown BBQ Bash competition at Whitlock Park will be held.
“Let us know how your business will help our community,” said Howard. “We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!”
