SAND SPRINGS — A 22-year-old Tulsa woman was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Sand Springs, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash happened about 11:32 a.m. in the 7700 block of West Avery Drive. Troopers said a westbound vehicle driven by a juvenile crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound vehicle head-on.

The eastbound driver, Emerald Rose Boese of Tulsa, died from injuries sustained in the crash. She was the only occupant of her vehicle and was wearing a seat belt, authorities said.

The juvenile driver and three passengers in the westbound vehicle were injured. Troopers reported that all occupants in both vehicles were wearing seat belts.
