TULSA — A Tulsa woman died Sunday evening after a motorcycle crash on State Highway 51 near South 145th West Avenue, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred about 6:57 p.m. when a westbound motorcycle driven by Jason T. Bogan, 46, of Sand Springs, swerved to avoid another vehicle and went down on its side. Bogan and his passenger, Ashton Beacom, 35, of Tulsa, were both taken to St. John Medical Center.
Beacom died from injuries sustained in the collision, OHP reported.
The second vehicle involved was driven by a 17-year-old Sand Springs resident who was not injured, OHP said.
