Creek Co SPDWY Friday June 12 Sooner Shuffle - Power 410 Outlaw Srint League

Terlton

Terlton's Toby Cooper put together one of the better runs in the McCause Construction Factory Stocks division. After starting sixth in the A-Feature, Cooper advanced two positions to finish fourth, earning one of the strongest top-five finishes among area drivers. Earlier in Heat 1, he started on the pole and held on for second behind eventual feature winner Nick Artherton.

Mannford

Mannford's Levi Bumgarner faced an uphill battle all night. He slipped from eighth to finish eighth in Heat 1, then started 15th in the Factory Stock feature and was credited with 11th after a DNF. Despite the result, Bumgarner gained four positions before mechanical issues ended his night.

Sand Springs

Sand Springs racer Robert Scott endured a difficult evening in Factory Stocks. After starting second in Heat 2, Scott fell back to seventh. He was scheduled to start 14th in the A-Feature but was unable to answer the call, resulting in a DNS.

Sapulpa

Brandon Schmeckeper showed impressive speed in Factory Stocks. He charged from eighth to third in Heat 2, gaining five positions and earning a spot in the feature. Unfortunately, the feature ended early for the Sapulpa driver, who started second but was credited with ninth after a DNF.

Sapulpa's Erica Abrams competed in the NOW600 Dwarf Cars division. Abrams gained two positions in Heat 2, moving from eighth to sixth. In the A-Feature she started and finished 11th against a strong field.

Sprint car veteran Kyle Clark carried the Sapulpa banner in the ASCS 410 Sprint Cars. Clark qualified 13th quickest, then opened the night with a runner-up finish in Heat 1. He rolled off 11th in the A-Feature but faded to 19th at the finish after a challenging main event.

Prue

Prue absolutely owned the Mini Stock division. Lane Traster led every lap from the pole to win the A-Feature and also won his heat race after advancing from second to first. Not far behind was fellow Prue driver Bentley Traster, who finished third in the feature and second in the heat race. Between them, the Trasters claimed the feature win, a podium finish, and the top two positions in the heat race, making Prue the unquestioned powerhouse of the class for the night.

SATURDAY, JUNE 13, EMT, Nurses, Ft. Gibson, Slick, and Oakhurst Night At Creek

Drumright

Drumright's Fred Mattox was solid in the Champ/305 Sprints. He dominated Heat 2 from the pole for the win, then backed it up with an eighth-place finish in the A-Feature against a 20-car field. While he didn't move forward in the feature, Mattox was one of only a handful of area racers to capture a heat race victory.

Sand Springs

Sand Springs was represented throughout the night. In the Champ/305 Sprints, Shane Duke advanced six positions in the A-Feature, charging from 19th to 13th after transferring through the B-Feature where he finished third. Fellow Sand Springs racer Danny Smith suffered DNFs in both his heat race and the B-Feature.

In the B-Mod division, Robert Scott turned in one of the strongest performances by any local driver. Scott advanced from sixth to third in his heat race and followed it with a fifth-place finish in the A-Feature. Troy Minton's night went the opposite direction, falling from the pole to seventh in Heat 2 before recording a DNF in the feature.

Factory Stocks brought even more success for Sand Springs. Robert Scott started ninth and stormed forward six spots to finish third in the A-Feature, earning a podium finish. Ashley Scott also moved forward, climbing from 12th to ninth in the main event after a fourth-place run in Heat 1.

Sapulpa

Sapulpa racers were everywhere.

The headline belonged to Chad Davis, who wired the field in the USRA Modified feature for the victory. Davis also gained three positions to finish second in his heat race. Bobby Wolfe finished 13th, Jon-Paul Larison came home 16th, Brandon Dean suffered a DNF, and Eric Redman slipped from a heatrace runner-up finish to 14th in the feature.

Factory Stocks produced another winner for Sapulpa when Tommy Lawley started second and took the feature victory. Brandon Schmeckeper advanced two positions to 12th, while Zachary Esmond charged from 10th to second in the B-Feature to transfer into the main event before suffering a DNF. Bailey Vann won Heat 4 but saw his feature end early with a DNF.

In Mini Stocks, Kaegen Stevens and Kaeley Stevens both moved forward in the feature, finishing fifth and sixth respectively after difficult heat races.

In the NOW600 Dwarf Cars, Erica Abrams endured a tough night, finishing sixth in her heat race and recording a DNF in the feature.

Prue

Prue continued to own the Mini Stock division. Lane Traster picked up another feature victory, advancing from fourth to first and winning by moving through the field. Bentley Traster completed another strong family showing with a third-place feature finish. Earlier in the evening, the pair ran second and third in their heat race.

Lane Traster also doubled up by competing in the USRA Modifieds, where he ran fifth in the feature after advancing three positions in his heat race.

Terlton

Terlton's Toby Cooper had one of the night's best comeback stories. After finishing sixth in Heat 3 and missing a direct transfer, Cooper started sixth in the B-Feature and charged to victory. He then rolled off 17th in the A-Feature and advanced six positions to finish 11th, making him one of the biggest movers in the Factory Stock field.

Mannford

Mannford's Levi Bumgarner put together a respectable Factory Stock night. He finished third in Heat 1 and then advanced from 15th to 14th in the A-Feature. Not flashy, but he brought the car home while many others did not.

Braden Green was listed for the Champ/305 Sprint program but did not start either his heat race or the B-Feature.

Jennings Jennings' Timothy Gibble had a rough outing in Factory Stocks. After falling from second to seventh in Heat 2, he lined up sixth in the B-Feature but suffered a DNF and did not transfer to the main event.
