OKLAHOMA CITY — Artists have only a few weeks left to enter the 45th annual Oklahoma Waterfowl Stamp Design Competition.
Artwork must be delivered to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation headquarters in Oklahoma City by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, or shipped with a postmark no later than Monday, Aug. 31.
The winning artwork will appear on the 2027-28 Oklahoma Waterfowl Stamp. The stamp is purchased by waterfowl hunters in Oklahoma and collectors across the country, with proceeds supporting waterfowl conservation projects throughout the state.
This year’s featured species is the white-fronted goose, commonly called the specklebelly. The birds migrate through Oklahoma each fall and winter.
The competition is open to artists from any location. A $20 entry fee helps cover the cost of returning artwork to entrants.
