DRUMRIGHT — City of Drumright leadership recently congratulated City Clerk Shawna Jackson on her successful completion of the Municipal Leader Academy — a leadership training program offered through the Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group (OMAG).
The Municipal Leader Academy is designed to help municipal leaders strengthen their leadership abilities while developing communication and decision-making skills, according to the city’s announcement. The program provides participants with opportunities to enhance their professional knowledge and leadership capabilities as they serve their communities.
City Manager Shawn Gibson said Jackson’s completion of the program reflects a continued commitment to professional development and to serving the citizens of Drumright. City officials recognized her achievement and expressed appreciation for the dedication she brings to her role as city clerk.
