SAND SPRINGS — A Sand Springs student has been named to the 2026 Academic All-State class by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence.
Sophia Hart, a senior at Charles Page High School, was selected as one of 100 Oklahoma public school seniors recognized statewide for academic achievement, leadership and community involvement.
The Academic All-State class will be honored May 2 during the foundation’s Academic Awards Celebration at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. Each honoree receives a $1,500 award, honor cord and medallion.
Hart is a three-year member of the National Honor Society and has served four years as captain and goalkeeper for the CPHS soccer team. She is a threetime Academic All-Conference selection in soccer and has been named an Advanced Placement Scholar with Honors. She also has competed as goalkeeper for the WSA Soccer club team for 13 years and is a state qualifier in powerlifting.
Hart scored a 35 on the ACT and earned the Oklahoma Rising Scholars Award for achieving a 99.5 percentile score. She plans to study aerospace and mechanical engineering at Oklahoma State University, where she has been accepted into the Honors College and awarded a College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology scholarship.
According to the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, the 2026 Academic All-State class represents 63 public schools in 58 districts. Since the program began in 1987, more than 4,000 Oklahoma students have been honored.
