This is the 2026 Drumright Lady Tornado softball schedule and it sounds real tough.
Aug. 10 at home against Pawhuska; Aug. 11 at home against Meeker; Aug. 13 -15 at the Ripley Festival; Aug 18 at Strother; Aug. 20-22 at the Prague Tournament; Aug. 25, a three-way at Ripley with Kellyville; Sept. 1., home against Kelleyville; Sept 3, home against Wellston; Sept. 8, home against Strother; Sept. 10, home against Milton; Sept. 14, home against Beggs; Sept.15, at Davenport; Sept 17, away at Yale; Sept. 21, home against Wellston; Sept 22, home against Depew.
By the time you read this, the ladies will have had their scrimmage with Collinsville, Bartlesville at Shawnee Firelake.
Now here is the Oilton festival: Are you ready for the opening game? Oilton vs Yale. These two teams will play for the first time in probably 30 years — maybe 35.
Sept. 3, Oilton will host Yale — better get seats early. Sept 11, Oilton will host Bowlegs, Oilton’s first road game. Sept. 18, they will play at Kremlin Hillsdale. Set. 25, they will host crossover prep; Oct. 2 they will be away at South Coffeyville (get ready to travel). For homecoming, they will play Watts Oct. 8; Oct. 15 they will be away at Covington Douglas; Oct. 22, away against Bluejacket; senior night at home against Oaks Mission; Nov. 6 will be at Medford. Cole Yancy, who played at Davenport, and was pretty good in everything is the head coach.

I’m not sure who’s going out for football in Oilton. I heard the Prather brothers, Tripp Brown... I’m sure we’ll know later.
Yale has several starters, but lost some really good seniors. I don’t have Oilton softball girls’ schedule yet. Some of the players are Demi Kennedy, Keely James Patie Smith, Aubry McEwen, Jordan Smith Freshman Kinnison Prather, Holly Holm, Claire Jones, Keegan Styles, Kaylee Hopkins.
The freshman class has won a bunch of games over the years and the older girls were playing great this summer.
