OKLAHOMA — The Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics (ODAA) is now accepting applications for its AERO Education Grant Program for the 2026–2027 academic year, offering funding opportunities to support aviationand aerospace-focused education initiatives across the state.

Local student earns business degree from Northwestern

ALVA — Northwestern Oklahoma State University has announced that Blake Jones of Sand Springs will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree during spring commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 9.The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Central Tech Students Earn Top Honors at SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference

SAND SPRINGS — Alyx Edwards of Sand Springs has been named to the Fall 2025 Dean’s List at the University of Arkansas.Edwards is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in advertising and public relations in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

Cleveland student earns degree from Wichita State

WICHITA, KA — A Cleveland student was among more than 1,160 graduates who completed degrees and certificates at Wichita State University during the fall 2025 semester.Tashia Hall of Cleveland earned a Master of Education in counseling, according to a university news release.
