DRUMRIGHT — The OilPatch Festival in Drumright once again lit up the town this weekend with a full day of celebration, community, and entertainment.
“It was a great day for the OilPatch! We had something for everyone!” said Drumright Chamber of Commerce President Angela Titus.
The day began with a breakfast fundraiser at the Drumright Masonic Lodge #468 benefiting The Pride of Drumright Band. According to Titus, around 30 vendors and food trucks were a part of the Drumright Monthly Market which opened at 10 a.m. followed by the OilPatch parade at 11 a.m.

Winners of the Tidewater Tydol Idol competition were Korbin Cartwright for Best Male and Overall, Laurel Taber for Best Female, and for the best duo was Austin and Jayda Creekmore. Music continued throughout the day from noon to 6:30 p.m. The Boomtown Theatre also entertained crowds with two performances of their melodrama Shagwood Secret.
The Third Annual Cruising the Hills car show revved up in the afternoon. Winners included Keaton Jenson (Modern — 1997 Chevy Z71), Jesse James (Classic — 1963 Ford Galaxie “Ms. Ruby”), Hunter Pritchard (Best Boat), Brad Parson (Best Bike), and Linda James (People’s Choice — 1966 Ford Mustang).
“The Drumright Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who worked to bring this day to fruition. Thank you to all our vendors, food trucks, musicians, all our parade entries, the City of Drumright, Drumright Historical Society Museum, Drumright Masonic Lodge #468, Boomtown Theater, Drumright Monthly Market, The Drumright Project, The Drumright Garden Club, and all those that came to spend the day with us,” said Titus.
