The Drumright junior high baseball team is coached by Hunter Kirby, B. J. Osborn and Terry Mattox. They’ve had their ups and downs. We do things different than other teams. We pitch more pitchers than other teams do. The other teams will pitch one guy. Our guys are getting prepared for high school.
Most of the time I watched our guys play, we did lose some close games. Our pitchers have been Aston Staley, Nelson Barnett, Jacob House and Jaxon House, who hit a home run over the fence this season. In one of the games, Cane Hollabaugh hit an inside the park homer. Most of the starters are good power hitters.
Another pitcher is B. B. Barber. In a game against Carney, Dallas Robinson was 2 for 2 with one RBI Cane Hollabaugh 1-1 with one RBI, Jacob House 1-1 with 1 RBI, Staley 1-2. Barnett walked once. Keaton Baugh walked twice and Hollabaugh walked once. First base is B. B. Barber, second is

In the Carney game, defensive plays were by Robinson, Staley, Jacob House to Jaxon House, as the ball went to the back of home plate, Jaxon was pitching and threw it to Jacob for the out.
Barber struck out one batter, Staley struck out six batters. Jacob House and Jaxon House pitched in the game.
In the summer, the varsity baseball team play some games at Jenks starting in June. Some of the opponent are Jenks, Cascia Hall, Owasso and Holland Hal.
The fastpitch Lady Tornadoes play in a summer league at Sapulpa. I do not know what “Sharp Dressed Man” has in store for the basketball team camps, to the Lady Tornado basketball team will do.
