Largemouth bass are good on in-line spinnerbaits and plastic baits around brush structure, docks and points. Blue catfish are excellent on shad around the main lake. Lower Illinois River PFHA — Aug. 7 Elevation is normal and stable. Water temperature is 70°F and clear. Rainbow trout are fair on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures, spoons and worms below the dam, in the shallows and along shorelines. Konawa — Aug. 9 Elevation is normal and stable. Water temperature is 94°F and clear.
Largemouth bass are good on crankbaits and plastic baits around the main lake, points, river channel and weed beds.
Striped hybrid bass and white bass are good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits and live shad around coves, the inlet, main lake and river channel.
Channel catfish are good on chicken liver and cut bait around coves, the inlet, riprap and weed beds.

Texoma — Aug. 9 Elevation is normal and stable. Water temperature is 85°F and clear.
Striped bass are good on live shad, sassy shad and slabs around channels, points and the river channel.
Blue, channel and flathead catfish are good on chicken liver, dough bait, live shad, punch bait and stinkbait around channels, coves, points and the river channel.
Black and white crappie are fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs and minnows around brush structure, coves, docks and the main lake.
The warden reports fishing has been good this week. Stripers are doing well on live shad, slabs and trolled sassy shad, particularly between the bridges, around Alberta and near the islands. Catfish are being caught on live bait and cut bait. Crappie are doing well around brush piles and in docks using jigs and PowerBait.

Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area — Aug. 7 Elevation is normal and stable. Water temperature is 69°F and clear.
Rainbow trout are being caught on caddis flies, crickets, grasshoppers, PowerBait and small lures below the dam, around creek channels and near the spillway.
