SHAWNEE — Cleveland High School’s boys cross country team finished 18th in the Class 4A field Saturday at the NRC Pre-State meet hosted by North Rock Creek High School.
The Tigers scored 443 points in the 5,000-meter race, paced by junior Josiah Logsdon, who crossed the line in 19 minutes, 5.72 seconds for 58th place overall.
Sophomore Keanin Kesner followed at 21:08.52 (113th), while sophomore Bobby Smith finished in 21:14.03 (118th). Junior Oliver Sorenson clocked 21:29.82 (123rd), senior Proctor Shawn ran 22:19.61 (149th), junior Kit Sorensonposted 25:58.26 (205th), and sophomore Kash McCuen rounded out the squad with a 26:03.19 (208th).
Byng won the 4A team title with 67 points, followed by Bridge Creek (103) and Crossings Christian (114).
