Cleveland boys battle through Bristow field

BRISTOW — The No. 48 ranked Cleveland boys golf team faced a deep and competitive field Monday at the Bristow Boys Tournament, finishing 11th as a team at Bristow Golf Course and Country Club.

The Tigers were led by senior Hagin Sanders, who turned in Cleveland’s top round of the day with a 98 to place 40th overall. Sanders found his rhythm late in the round, recording pars on holes 7, 16 and 17 to pace the Tigers.

Senior Cole Ends followed closely behind, finishing 48th with a 105. Ends carded pars on holes 15 and 17, showing consistency down the stretch.

Senior Brady Torres added a 104 to place 47th, highlighted by pars on holes 10 and 16, while sophomore Logan Florer finished 52nd with a 108 and recorded a par on hole 16.

Senior Korben Harris rounded out the Cleveland lineup, placing 61st with a score of 128.
