The Drumright Lady Tornadoes fast pitch team coached by Leslie Robinson, and assisted by Alyssa Fuxa, travelled to Ripley for the Ripley Tournament, and that tournament is stacked, it could be one of the best tournaments in the state. On Monday the Lady Tornadoes travelled to McCloud and gave up 6 runs in the bottom of the fourth, and lost 8-0. The Ladies made quite a few errors in the inning. The Ladies only had 1 hit that was by Brinlee Christy. Kaiton Vann pitched, and didn’t strike out anybody but only trailed 2-0 going into the fourth. Defensive plays were made by Alyssa Roe, Aubrie Allen, Boston Lunsford, Brae Wright, Kaiton Vann, Tinley Freeman.
The next day we were supposed to have our home opener, but Meeker didn’t have enough to play. The next day at Ripley we played the Lone Grove junior varsity. If you know anything about Lone Grove softball, they always are in the hunt for the 4A state title. Their junior varsity team is real good also. They beat us 11-2.
The Ladies had four errors. The Ladies only trailed 2-1 going into the bottom of the third, but Lone Grove got hot with the bats the last 2 innings. The Lady Tornadoes’ hits came
