SHAWNEE — Olive High School’s girls cross country team placed fifth in the Class 1A race at the NRC Pre-State meet on Saturday, closing out a competitive top-five field.
The Lady Flyers scored 122 points, trailing Laverne (16), Boise City (69), Hillsdale Christian (79), and Prue (82).
Olive was led by Aliyah Colbert, who finished 35th in 16 minutes, 14.66 seconds. Lily West added a 59th-place finish in 18:53.36, followed by Camber Henshaw, 20:06.75 (61st), Arely Perez, 20:06.43 (70th), and senior Elli Harmon, 20:08.71 (71st), rounding out the team’s scoring.
The Lady Flyers also had Koty McQueen finish 88th in 23:19.44.
