Stonecipher leads Olive golfers competing as individuals at Bristow

BRISTOW — Competing without a full team, the Olive boys still made their presence known Monday at the Bristow Boys Tournament at Bristow Golf Course and Country Club.

With only three golfers entered, Olive competed as individuals but turned in several solid rounds, led by sophomore River Stonecipher.

Stonecipher paced the group with a 23rdplace finish, carding a 90. His round featured a mix of consistency and a highlight moment, including pars on holes 3, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 18, along with a birdie on hole 10 that helped boost his score.

Senior Tyler Conley followed with a 94 to place 36th. Conley recorded pars on holes 12 and 16, contributing a steady round for the Olive contingent.

Junior Timothy Cotton rounded out the group, placing 57th with a score of 121.
