SPERRY — Competing in a field of nearly 100 golfers, Charles Page sophomore Maggie Webb turned in an impressive performance Monday at the 2026 Sperry Lady Pirates Spring Golf Classic at Rock Creek Golf Course along historic Route 66.
Webb finished 22nd out of 95, carding a 104 in the early-season tournament and placing solidly in the upper quarter of the field.
Rock Creek’s layout provided a tough test for golfers throughout the day, but Webb handled the challenge well. She opened the round with a 49 on the front nine, navigating the course’s mix of long par-5s and demanding par-3s while settling into the round.
After the turn, Webb continued to compete steadily, posting a 55 on the back nine to close out the day. The sophomore maintained her composure throughout the round and finished strong as she worked her way through the final holes.
The Sperry Lady Pirates Spring Golf Classic annually draws a large and competitive field from across the region, making Webb’s top-25 finish a strong showing to start the spring season.
