Sandites Make History with 70-0 Shutout, Mark First Three-Game Blanking Since 1938

SAND SPRINGS — In the highest-scoring game since the 84-0 blowout of US Grant in 2022, the Sand Springs Sandites blanked Capitol Hill 70-0 last Friday at home in front of a homecoming crowd, capping off a third consecutive shutout for the first time since 1938.

SAND SPRINGS — Charles Page High School’s boys golf team held a nine-hole match-play practice against the Sperry Pirates on Sept. 22 at The Canyons at Black Jack Ridge.Freshman Mason Kinser led the Sandites, shooting a 36 while paired with Sperry’s Grant Overfield, who finished with a 49.
