Friday night Quinton visited the Tornadoes. Last year the Tornadoes humbled Quinton 36-6 Friday night didn’t go well for the Tornadoes as Quinton used a strong running game with an occasional pass.

Lady Tornadoes flatten Liberty, stopped in Ripley

Monday the Lady Tornadoes traveled to Liberty Mounds and gave them a Roy D. Mercer beating 23-0.Kaiton Vann pitched and everybody got in on the act — there was a lot of walks by Liberty and a lot of hits. The next night the ladies played number 13 in Class A, Ripley.

Mannford boys finish second in Inola

INOLA — Mannford High School’s boys cross country team finished second at the Inola Cross Country Meet on Monday, trailing Summit Christian Academy but outpacing most of the competition in the 5,000-meter race.The Panthers scored 95 points, led by Kyson Phillips, who placed 14th in 18:45.
