The Drumright Lady Tornadoes season is over, the Ladies had to go to Hominy, imagine that. The Ladies stomped Ketchum 12-1 as Ketchum had a ton of errors. Weirdly Ketchum had only played 8 games before the Districts.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Lady Tiger slowpitch team stood at 6-11 last Monday, then they walked into a game against a ranked team — No. 18 Berryhill — and didn’t ask permission for anything. They took what they wanted.Top of the first, and you could feel it right away.

Cleveland plays though a tough season

There are seasons that show up in the standings… and there are seasons that are just tough.Right now, the 7–18 Cleveland Tigers are having a tough season. Wins haven’t come since March 28 and the numbers are what they are.

Pirates winless over last week

The record for the Mannford Pirate baseball team says 5–18. Spend a week around Pirate baseball, and you can to see something else — a lineup that keeps putting the ball in play. Arms that keep competing. Kids who don’t quit, even when the innings get long and the scoreboard leans the wrong way.

Bixby Spartans Unable To Overcome Sandites Late-Game Surge

BIXBY — The Sand Springs Sandites had already felt it once. Monday night at home against Bixby stretched into an extra inning and slipped away, 5-4. A game that lingered. So when the Sandites rolled into B-town Tuesday and fell behind early, this felt like Monday all over again.

Baseball boys finish third in Mounds Tournament

The Drumright varsity Tornadoes finished third in the Mounds tournament on Saturday beating Mounds 9-1.We actually played Chouteau first and lost 9-0. We got in a 6-0 hole by the end of the first. We could have gotten back in it, but we stranded base runners. We couldn’t get them in.

MANNFORD — A baseball game between the Cleveland Tigers and the Mannford Pirates on a cool Monday is usually a pretty good day—unless you were wearing Tiger stripes. It was not a good day to be a Tiger.However, Pirate Cooper Ausbern? He had himself a fantastic day.
