MANNFORD — the time the dust settled Saturday night, the Mannford Lady Pirates weren’t just 15-8, they were district champions.As winners of five of their last six games, this group is carrying good momentum into regional territory.But let’s start with the punch in the nose.

Saturday night, the Drumright Lady Tornadoes played Hominy and lost 57-42. You can say,”What a blowout,” but the Lady Tornadoes actually had a 16-4 lead after one quarter.Alyssa Roe got the Lady Tornadoes off to a great start with 7 points, hitting one three.

Tornado Watch

On homecoming night on Tuesday, our Tornado boys and girls hosted Woodland.Before the game, the Tornado boys had lost to Woodland twice, once in the Agra Tournament and once at Woodland — both of them close games.Lady Tornadoes The woodland girls had also lost two close games to the Lady Tornadoes.
